The Barn & Museum

The beautifully restored Barn was once home to the Copper Kings' famous polo horses. Built in 1915, it now houses a modern fitness center and the sprawling upstairs loft is set to host an occasional barn dance as well as its share of friendly basketball games.

Preserving this wonderland's engaging history is a large part of what the Kootenai Lodge Estates is all about. And the Kootenai Museum will showcase antiques and

artifacts of the property that remind of the grand lifestyle that blossomed here in the summers beginning in 1906. With Anaconda Copper Co. memorabilia and vintage photographs, the Museum is located just outside the Barn in an old and lovingly restored filling station. As a homeowner at the Kootenai, your own family story will be added to the lore and legend of this fabled property—a story to be told again and again in the decades to come.
